Short and medium-term accommodation is a temporary home for NDIS participants who can’t live in their usual home for a while. You stay in a safe, comfortable Koala Life Care home, with 24/7 support, until your long-term home is ready.
Stays usually last from 14 days up to 3 months, across metropolitan Adelaide.

Transitional Support
For participants waiting for permanent housing, we provide medium-term accommodation with a focus on stability and continuity of care, for example while your own home is being modified and the builder is running late.

How long can I stay?
Stays usually last from 14 days up to 3 months. If you need support for longer than 3 months, we’ll talk with you about Supported Independent Living (SIL).
How it’s funded
When it’s included in your NDIS plan, the NDIS pays for your stay at a daily rate. Not sure if your plan covers it? Call us or ask your support coordinator.
